Maid of Honor

Janet: Janet is someone Vivian considers “the sister she never had.” They first met through mutual friends in college and have been friends ever since. Having lived together for the past 6 years, their friendship grew more into a close sisterly bond throughout the years. Although they are close, anyone can tell you that they are the complete opposites. While Viv can be a bit on the ’square-ish’ (or hexagonal, as she says) side, Janet’s free-spirited ways have helped round out her edges over time. Aside from being one of Vivian’s hottest and outgoing friends, Janet is also one of the most funniest and self-less people she knows. Being an honorary Lee (soon to be Yee), Janet and Viv both share a love of food and watching meaningless reality shows. They also both pride themselves on being up to date with their pop-culture knowledge.

Bridesmaids

Jen: Jen and Vivian first met their freshman year at UCLA, but they became closer friends after they graduated. Vivian describes Jen as one of the most independent and free willed people she knows and lives vicariously through all of her spontaneous adventures. She is also one of the happiest. Jen loves to travel, be active, do yoga, and snowboard. Currently, Jen is working in a PR firm in Santa Monica and is the only person Vivian knows that LOVES LOVES LOVES her job.

Yvonne: Yvonne and Vivian have been very close friends for years…literally. They know everything about each other due to the fact they shared a room together for nearly 5 years and have lived in each other’s personal space. They first met their freshman year at UCLA during zero week, and have been great friends ever since. Much of it is probably due to Yvonne’s sweet and easy-going personality. Although they had to part ways when Yvonne moved back up to the Bay area, the girls still remain close.

Monica: Monica and Vivian first met their freshman year at UCLA and were dorm mates and roommates during college. She is one of Vivian’s most sweetest and loyal friends. While living together, Vivian was convinced that Monica had a secret life because she was always MIA. But thinking back, it was probably because she was just so dang popular (since she’s such a likable person). Currently, Moon-jung is finishing up her MBA at the University of Chicago and will be graduating in June 2009.
